What kinds of milk can be made in the Nutmixr?
Absolutely anything! You can use any nuts, seeds, or grains that you like including, but not limited to, almond, oat, coconut, macadamia, soy, rice, hemp and even black sesame!
How long does Nutmixr milk last in the fridge?
Depending on the amount of salt added, typically 3-5 days. Salt helps extend the life of the milk and adds flavor, but is not necessary.
What quantity of nuts, seeds, oats & base can I use to make my milk?
We recommend using 2 - 4 tablespoons of raw ingredients for a full 350ml portion. (Most plant-based milks in stores use very little in the way of actual nuts or seeds. They’re mostly water and a large amount of artificial thickeners, fillers, and flavourings.)
Coconut water, hot water or other liquids can be used in the base of the machine in place of regular water. Fruit can be used but is not the best base for milk.
How much milk is made in one batch?
350ml of milk is made with each batch! A single serve to ensure no waste!
Do the nuts need to be soaked beforehand?
Soaking the nuts is not required at all! Just pop your raw ingredients straight in and run Nutmixr! However if you're looking for that smoother texture, we do recommend soaking overnight!
How long just it take to make my milk?
Depending on the type of milk you're wanting to make! Oat or Nut milks run on room temperature and takes 5 minutes! Whilst hot based milks like rice or soy take around 30 mins to mix!
